Ms. Lopez is President and owner of Premier Enterprise Solutions, LLC (PES), a firm which provides mission critical support in the areas of cyber security, network engineering, software development, and telecommunications. PES has a reputation for providing customer centric, business driven and innovative technical solutions. PES clients include both Federal and State Governments and private industry. PES performs cyber support for large agencies such as the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Department of Homeland Security. PES is also an 8(a), certified economically disadvantaged women owned, VA verified service disabled veteran owned, and Maryland certified MBE\DBE\SBE business.
Prior to starting PES, Ms. Lopez served as a corporate officer and as an on-site manager of several enterprise cyber compliance and operations projects. In this capacity she has hired and evaluated many entry-level, junior, and senior cyber professionals. Ms. Lopez also has a wealth of Government experience. Ms. Lopez served as the Director of Defense Department programs at the Federal Systems and Integration Center (FEDSIM), U.S. General Services Administration where she oversaw the annual sales, acquisition, and administration of $120 million of information technology contracts which included cyber security. She also served as a Senior Account Manager for the GSA Office of Sales where she developed strategic relationships with other Federal Agency decision-makers and identified large information technology business opportunities. Ms. Lopez is a former U.S. Air Force officer where she served as the Branch Chief for the Pentagon’s Top Secret Air Force Operations Network and the technical manager for an $80 million command center upgrade at Strategic Air Command.
Ms. Lopez received the GSA Administrators Exceptional Service award and is an ACT-IAC Fellow. Ms. Lopez is also a member of the inaugural class of the Women Veteran’s Entrepreneurial Corps (WVEC), a women veteran’s business accelerator collaboration between Capitol One and Count Me In, and a graduate of the SBA Emerging Leaders Program. In 2013, Ms. Lopez was named as “One of the 25 Influential Women in Business – Making a Difference,” by Minority Enterprise Advocate Magazine.
